Volunteers from the South Carolina Aquarium release a rehabilitated Loggerhead Sea Turtles on Friday in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The turtle was one of two that were rescued and nursed back to health by the sea turtle hospital at the aquarium.

The juvenile green sea turtle was "gasping for air" and "struggling to swim" about 200 yards from Honeymoon Island State Park, according to the Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission. It will be rehabilitated at Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

Dunedin, Florida -- Florida Fish & Wildlife officers rescued a sick Loggerhead sea turtle off the coast of Honeymoon Island Friday. Officers on water patrol in the area got a call that the turtle struggling about 200 yards off the island's coast.
